The number of OES applications is steadily increasing - time for us to come together as a community in order to learn from each other, share experiences, develop ideas for OES and implement them together. A central forum will be the OES user meetings, with the first meeting taking place in July 2022.
Projects using OES
At present five online reference works are realised using the OES framework, ranging from online encyclopedia to online handbook. Further applications are in development, more are planned. 21.-22.03.2024 | 2nd OES User Meeting | Freie Universität Berlin
The second OES Community Meeting will take place on 21 and 22 March 2024. The OES Community Meeting serves as a platform for co-learning and exchange between editors, editorial teams and developers of the various publication projects that rely on the Open Encyclopedia System for the realisation of quality-assured online publications in Open Access.

The OES user meeting focuses on the exchange of experiences between editors, editorial teams and developers who rely on the Open Encyclopedia System for quality-assured online publications in Open Access. The two-day meeting will also serve to document good-practice approaches, provide a practical introduction to the installation and editorial work with the OES, and discuss existing and future OES features.
