The beta version of the bilingual platform Arabic Sociology is now online. Arabic Sociology brings together sociological works and concepts in both Arabic and English, with the aim of fostering cross-linguistic and cross-regional engagement within the discipline.

The central feature of the site is the Mapography—an interactive bibliographic tool that maps Arabic-language sociological monographs, including both original works and translations. By visualising the geographic distribution of publications, the Mapography highlights centers of sociological knowledge production across the Arab region.

The website is currently under development and actively invites contributions from scholars and authors working in or with Arabic sociology.
