Under the title "Bausteine der Übersetzungsgeschichte" (Building Blocks of Translation History), the Germersheim translator's lexicon UeLEX will be presented at an event at the Literary Colloquium Berlin on 29 February.

UeLEX is an online- lexicon containing translator portraits, i.e. scholarly essays that critically appraise the biographies and translation work of individuals who have translated into German since the days of Luther. The essays are accompanied by detailed translator-centred bibliographies.
