Part 1 – OES consultation hour / Open space for group topics
What concerns you in the context of OES? Are there any topics you would like to discuss?
- Interfaces
- Can non-Latin writing systems be represented in OES? What is planned here? Are there any other OES applications that deal with this?
- Search function with and without special characters. Can a ‘fuzzy’ search be implemented?
- Create keywords in pairs
- Status of OES development: new release in progress.
Part 2 – OES Community / Collaborative work
We want the community to grow! That's why we are currently working on materials to help ‘newbies’ to get started with OES more easily. The best way to achieve this is by working together with you, making use of your experience and critical eye.
- Joint review of the FAQ list (as part of the new website)
- → four sections / topics planned: 1: Planning the OES application, 2: Implementation phase, 3: Launching the OES application / ongoing operation, 4: OES community
- Brainstorming on the format ‘Checklist: Is OES right for my publication?’ – What questions would you ask people interested in OES and what advice would you give? What did you ask yourself?
Conclusion: Vote on the meeting format.

- If necessary, plan an additional, target group-specific meeting format for onboarding
