OES is an open-source software that benefits from being used and enhanced by the community.Within the OES community, researchers, developers, and representatives of various institutions collaborate to expand and improve OES as a research and publication infrastructure for open-access, lemmas-based publishing, in line with the needs of the academic community.

Since March 2025, our DFG project ComOES has supported the establishment and consolidation of OES.
The OES community meets in a variety of ways. Join us!
Once or twice a year, OES users and interested parties gather at Freie Universität Berlin for the OES Community Meeting. These two-day events provide an opportunity to familiarise yourself with other OES applications and editorial teams, share knowledge and exchange ideas about the future development of OES.

Consultation hours and collaborative work - Our OES MeetUp takes place online once a quarter. It is an oppertunity for OES users and the OES team to meet and discuss current topics related to working with OES.
