OES is an open-source software that benefits from being used and enhanced by the community. Within the OES community, researchers, developers, and representatives of various institutions collaborate to expand and improve OES as a research and publication infrastructure for open-access, lemmas-based publishing, in line with the needs of the academic community.

Since March 2025, our DFG project ComOES has supported the establishment and consolidation of OES.
