The OES user meeting focuses on the exchange of experiences between editors, editorial teams and developers who use the Open Encyclopedia System to create quality online publications under an open access licence. This two-day eventalso also provides an opportunity to document best practices, offer a practical introduction to installing and editing with OES, and discuss existing and future features of the system.
The 1st OES Community Meeting is a collaboration between the Centre for Digital Systems (CeDiS/UB), the Research Area 5 ‘Building Digital Communities’ of the EXC ‘Temporal Communities’ (Freie Universität Berlin) and the CRC 948 ‘Heroes – Heroisations – Heroisms’ (University of Freiburg). Participation is by invitation only. The workshop will be held in German.
