Once or twice a year, OES users and interested parties convene at Freie Universität Berlin for the OES Community Meeting. These two-day events provode an opportunity to familiarise yourself with other applications and project teams, share knowledge, and discuss the future development of OES.

Next OES community meeting: 23–24 April 2026 at Freie Universität Berlin

The 5th OES community meeting is coming soon. Registrations remain open until 27th March 2026.

For the 5th time, we are inviting all OES users and interested parties to Berlin. The spring meeting will focus on two key topics: the visibility and the sustainability of the OES applications and the OES community. Together, we will review the latest developments and explore future perspectives. Interactive discussion sessions will be complemented by reports from OES practitioners.

We are delighted that Birgit Schlegel (Research and Publication Services, UB, Freie Universität Berlin) has agreed to introduce us to the use of Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs).

The OES team looks forward to a productive and constructive exchange with all participants!
