Once or twice a year, OES users and interested parties convene at Freie Universität Berlin for the OES Community Meeting. These two-day events provode an opportunity to familiarise yourself with other applications and project teams, share knowledge, and discuss the future development of OES.

The 5th OES community meeting is coming soon. Registrations remain open until 15th March 2026.

For the 5th time, we are inviting all OES users and interested parties to Berlin:

Time, Place & Registration

• Time: Thursday, 23 April, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. – Friday, 24 April 2026, 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
• Place: Freie Universität Berlin, EXC 2020 Temporal Communities, Otto-von-Simson-Straße 15, 14195 Berlin
• Costs: Food and drinks will be provided during the event. You are responsible for planning and financing your travel and accommodation.

We are currently working on the agenda of the meeting. Once again, the OES applications will be presented in a poster session, providing the opportunity to network and discuss. We will present the latest developments and would like to collaborate on strategies and materials to expand and improve OES as software for publishing scientific online reference works in open access in a substainable and community-driven way.
