On 26 and 27 November 2026 the 6th OES Community Meeting will take place at Freie Universität Berlin, which we are organizing this time together with the team behind the OES application kalimat. We cordially invite all OES users and interested parties to Berlin to network, learn from one another, and exchange ideas. Thanks to the generous support of EXC Temporal Communities' at Freie Universität Berlin, the event will be held at the EXC.

As usual, the meeting will offer opportunities for exchange in various formats. We will present recent developments and would like to work with you to further explore and advance the self- and co-organization of the OES community and collaboration within the network.

We are currently working on the agenda. One focus will be the use of generative AI in scholarly publishing. In addition, we plan a writing sprint on the self-understanding of OES-based scholarly online reference works; a preparatory meeting for this sprint will be held online.
